Bikerowave is hosting a bi-weekly Movie Night on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. Movie Night starts at 10:00pm, after the shop closes. Everyone is welcome to bring drinks, snacks, pillows or blankets.

Last week, we tried to show Wes Anderson’s classic high school opus, Rushmore. Well, due to some technical difficulties we failed (but the accompanying Cubcamp Den Dinner was a total success). This Wednesday, March 12th, we will be really showing Rushmore. For realz this time. Anyone who missed out last Wednesday will have a second chance and anyone who was there, we will make it up to you. So throw on those O.R. scrubs again and come have some fun.

UPDATE: Due to scheduling conflicts with Cubcamp’s Den Dinner, Bikerowave’s Movie Night will be on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month rather than the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays. However, this Wednesday the 5th of March will be a Cubrowave Den Movie Mash-Up so it’s still on!

Thanks to Bike Kitchen, Bikerowave has about 15 Novara 20″ singlespeed bikes for sale - brand NEW!! They need to be checked over, but we will take you through the process and help you adjust them. Bike & adjustment - $50. These are the Pixie & Duster Bikes that REI is selling for $150, so it’s a good deal. I don’t know exactly who donated them to the Bike Kitchen but once I do I’ll post it up so that they will get due credit . . . until then, thanks mystery donor!

Bikerowave will close for Valentine’s day. SMOOCHiES!!

We will be closed on Wednesday the 21st for the Thanksgiving holiday and re-open on Saturday the 25th, regular hours.

Bikerowave will have a booth at the Alt Car Expo promoting bicycling as a safe, healthy and environmentally-friendly form of transportation. Please stop by to say hello, and also check out the rest of the expo!

Thanks to everyone who came out for the ride and made it a huge success! A very special thanks to all of the folks who contributed to the raffles.

The New Belgium Brewery Cruiser was won by one of our own members. Other prizes donated by Patagonia were won by happy attendees of the party at the Alehouse, though suspiciously several of those winners are members of Bikerowave. Hmmmm…
