To keep up with our rent, Bikerowave’s shop rate will be increasing to $7 per hour as of Wednesday, July 2nd.  This hourly rate still includes use of our space, tools and volunteer help.  Please make a note and tell all your friends.

The $100 flat annual membership rate will stay the same.

Bikerowave will be closed today in observance of Memorial Day.  We will be open next on Wednesday at 6:30pm.

On April 12th, Bikerowave volunteers gathered at the shop for a ceremony to honor one of our greatest benefactors: Gern Trowbridge.

Gern has been a fundamental force in getting Bikerowave where it is today. He has donated many tools and parts as well as dedicated endless hours of blood and sweat to improving the shop. Not to mention his smiles and positivity are always a welcome treat. Without a doubt, Bikerowave would be nowhere without Gern and he is a shining example of what all our volunteers strive to be. To show our appreciation, we presented Gern with the first annual GERN AWARD, an honor which will — from now on — be presented to a volunteer whose attitude and efforts have gone above and beyond anyone’s expectations.

Two people (among many others) made generous donations to Bikerowave and I’d like to thank them. Midnight Rida “MikeBikeMike” made a generous cash donation to Bikerowave. Thanks MikeBikeMike!! Also, shortly after Bikerowave moved to it’s present location an anonymous donor going by the pseudonym “The Captain” donated a box full of new multi tools, and other awesome gear. Thanks very much Captain, where ever you are!

Thanks to Bike Kitchen, Bikerowave has about 15 Novara 20″ singlespeed bikes for sale - brand NEW!! They need to be checked over, but we will take you through the process and help you adjust them. Bike & adjustment - $50. These are the Pixie & Duster Bikes that REI is selling for $150, so it’s a good deal. I don’t know exactly who donated them to the Bike Kitchen but once I do I’ll post it up so that they will get due credit . . . until then, thanks mystery donor!
