Bikerowave is going to CicLAvia and will be closed on Sunday April 10th!

CicLAvia!!!

The streets will be open on April 10th! Ride your bike, take a stroll, have a picnic! Bikerowave volunteers will be doing all these things and more at CicLAvia, so the shop will be closed for the day.

Los Angeles’ second CicLAvia will be Sunday April 10th 2011 from 10am-3pm, closing 7.5 miles of streets to motor vehicles and opening them to pedestrians, cyclists, and skateboarders. Come and celebrate your city by exploring the neighborhoods along the route, and enjoying this public space!
Bikerowave volunteers will be taking the day off to celebrate this awesome event, so the shop will be closed on Sunday April 10th. We hope to see you there!
We will be riding from Bikerowave to Melrose and Heliotrope, home of the Bicycle Kitchen co-op, at 9:30am. You are welcome to join our ride but please make sure your bike is in good working condition, and you have basic tools to take care of flats (i.e. tire levers, patch kit, and pump, at a minimum).
To see the CicLAvia route that stretches from Hollenbeck Park in Boyle Heights, through Little Tokyo, Downtown, Westlake and MacArthur Park, Koreatown, and into East Hollywood at the Bicycle District go here.
