Bikerowave hosts a bi-weekly Movie Night on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. Movie Night starts at 10:00pm, after the shop closes. Everyone is welcome and feel free to bring drinks, snacks, pillows and blankets.

Bikerowave is closed on Thursday/Thanksgiving Day.  Normal hours will resume Saturday.  If you’re looking for something awesome to do after Thanksgiving Dinner, the Friends of the Friendless ride will be meeting outside Bikerowave at 9pm on Thursday/Thanksgiving Day.  The best ride evar, we ride around and when we find solo bike riders, we accompany them, as a group, to their destination.

What is Bikerowave?  A bike repair collective where you can learn to fix your bike on the cheap?  It’s more than that - it’s a community space where cycling culture is born, remixed and renewed.  Especially on a night like Thursday, where we had six volunteers, half as many customers, and 100 people partying with Toms Shoes in our shared alley.Toms Shoes, a shoe company who donates one pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair they sell, is one of our favorite neighbors.  It’s not just that they do good things, but also that they’re cool cats.  This Thursday they screened a surfing movie to a hip crowd of 100, or perhaps more.  Since we were overstaffed, we decided to hang out a bit, as Toms graciously invited us to jump into the fun.

This week we’re watching Star Trek: First Contact.  The crew of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-E follows a Borg ship back in time to 21st century Earth where humans are about to discover warp technology.  Featuring James Cromwell as Zefram Cochrane.  Starfleet uniforms optional.

You got that right!  The Bikerowave has WAY too many off-road, mountain bike tires and we want you to have some–for free! These are all 26″ tires and we have a variety of treads and some are newer than others.  So, come in early for the best selection! First come, first served, and available until we’ve cleared enough ceiling space to make room for some of our road tires we’ve got stored in back. Thank you!
